We’re one week away from this years fosscon, and we have a full day of talks, workshops, and learning on the schedule. If you’re curious about the talks, most of the talk summaries are available on this page. Once again, the community has come together to allow us to offer you some great content, and we’re proud to offer even more talks and variety than we’ve been able to in the past.
Fosscon is being held at the Venturef0rth facility in Philadelphia, a venue which offers a cool climate controlled space, elevator access, and accessible free parking nearby.
In addition, the Ubuntu-US-PA group will be present running an Ubuntu village. If you have an interest in Ubuntu but are not sure how to get started, these guys can help you get it installed, and help you with any issues you may have along the way. Hive76 will also be present, running workshops throughout the day on hardware hacking topics such as soldering, and building flat-panel speakers.
If you’ve not already registered, now is the time. You can register over at https://www.wepay.com/events/fosscon-2012. If you have registered, expect an email later this week with some last minute notes and parking information.
See you there!
