Elizabeth Krumbach to keynote at Fosscon 2011.

This year the keynote is being given by Elizabeth Krumbach. Elizabeth will speak on “Contributing to Open Source.”

Elizabeth Krumbach has been involved with coordinating Linux community groups since 2003 and is currently a sitting member of the Ubuntu Community Council. Her work within Ubuntu primarily focuses on working with new members of the project and coordinating online training sessions, she is one of the leaders of the Ubuntu Women project which seeks to get more women involved with and using Ubuntu and is one of the leaders of Ubuntu California team. She is also a sitting board member of Partimus.org a San Francisco Bay Area non-profit working with several area public schools to build and maintain Linux-based computer lab for students. From her home in San Francisco she works as a Linux Systems Administrator for LinuxForce, a small technology services provider based out of Philadelphia.  Elizabeth was previously instrumental to running Philadelphia’s own Philadelphia Area Linux Users Group.
