Why should we sponsor FOSSCON?
Free software is all about community! Show your support for the New England FLOSS community by sponsoring. New England in general and Rochester in particular are hot beds of FLOSS activity. The area boasts many students. Introduce your project, company or sevice to tomorrow’s FLOSS leaders. If you’re looking for new users, new employees or new contributors in New England, then you should be promoting yourselves by sponsoring FOSSCON.
What kinds of sponsorship opportunities are available?
Lots of different types! For a modest amount, your organization can get a table in our exhibit hall. Or you may want to sponsor USB keys for attendees and have them take your logo home in their pocket. The keys will have contents related to the event, feature both your logo and ours and include some storage for the event-goer. Finally, we are putting together a conference bag for every attendee so if you have CD’s, t-shirts, or other giveaways we can include them in the gift bag for a modest fee. More opportunities are presented in detail below.
Sponsor lunch for attendees: $5,500
Sponsoring lunch gets your organization’s name and logo in the program guide with a full page ad. You’ll also be able to place a banner in the dining area and signage on the serving tables letting attendees know who’s buying lunch.
Sponsor a speaking track: $1000
Sponsoring a track gets your organizations name and logo on the event hall schedule that track is held in, and in the program guide page for that track. Each speaking track consists of 5 talks.
Includes full table with plenty of space for your displays, in your choice of location (first come, first serve). Power provided for LCD monitors and a machine. Additional power needs can be arranged at an additional cost. Also includes a half page ad in our program guide and your logo on our website for a year following FOSSCON 2010 on the FOSSCON 2010 sponsors page
Sponsor a workshop track: $500
Sponsoring a track gets your organizations name and logo on the event hall schedule that track is held in, and in the program guide page for that track. Each workshop track consists of two workshops.
Includes full table with plenty of space for your displays, in your choice of location (first come, first serve). Power provided for LCD monitors and a machine. Additional power needs can be arranged at an additional cost. Also includes a quarter page ad in our program guide and your logo on our website for a year following FOSSCON 2010 on the FOSSCON 2010 sponsors page
Choose your table placement: $300
This option allows you to select table placement. Preference will be given to the above sponsorship levels first, after which it is first come, first served. Includes full table with plenty of space for your displays, in your choice of location (first come, first serve). Power provided for LCD monitors and a machine. Additional power needs can be arranged at an additional cost.
Special Sponsorships of Bags, USB keys, or similar items: varies
Got great promotional items? Want to make sure your logo travels home with conference-goers? If you’re interested in placing an item into the giveaway bags for attendees, or sponsoring USB keys that will be given to each attendee, please contact us directly at the email below.
